Eve was deceived by the promise of truth, goodness, and beauty, while Adam knowingly chose disobedience—possibly out of love or misplaced loyalty to Eve. The result was the birth of shame and moral awareness, showing the consequences of sin and the need for gratitude, vigilance, and faithfulness to God’s word.
