Dear Church,
This week is the second week of Christmastide, on the podcast, Tim and Joe examine Hebrews 2:10‑18, highlighting the passage’s central theme that believers can become “partakers” with Christ. They explain that by following Jesus—sharing in His sufferings, temptations, and humanity—Christ’s followers are invited to share in His inheritance and glory. They emphasize that this partnership unites the sanctifier (Jesus) and the sanctified (us), so that the same victory over death and sin that belongs to Christ is shared with the partakers. Because Jesus became fully human and a merciful high priest, He can personally aid those who are tempted, guaranteeing that the partakers receive the same deliverance He secured.
