Dear Church,

I'll start of with a time sensitive notice: If you are going to the bluegrass festival in July and you want the best deal on adult tickets, purchase them by this Saturday, May 31. Here is a link to the website: https://highmountainhayfever.org/tickets/. Only purchase for your adults. Kids 12 and under are free, and 13-18 year olds can purchase student tickets at the gate for $10/day.

Our journey through Genesis continues this week in Genesis 1. On the podcast, Joe and Tim discuss Genesis 1:6-8, in which God creates the "firmament," a barrier separating the waters above from those below, establishing a distinction between heaven and earth. They emphasize that this division is a deliberate act of creation, not a consequence of sin, highlighting God's distinct dwelling place. They explore the symbolism of water as both life-giving and chaotic, and how God brings order to it. The conversation also touches upon the idea that creation was designed to mature and will ultimately see a unification of heaven and earth, a trajectory that was already in place before the fall.. Listen to the podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

If you are able to host in the upcoming weeks or months, please sign up here.
