Worship Service, March 8

Service Location: the Andersons' (4061 S Cherokee St, Englewood)
Time: 10:00am

Dear Church,

I hope you can join for the Psalm Sing with Redeemer community and several other churches this Friday. It's going to be a blast. Details and RSVP form are here. We are also going to be learning some songs for Easter and Good Friday as a church, hang around Sunday for our first Easter Choir practice.

Our journey through Genesis continues this week. On the podcast Joe and Rick discuss Genesis 18:1-15, focusing on God's covenant with Abraham and the miraculous promise of a son, Isaac, to a couple well past childbearing age. They emphasize the significance of hospitality displayed by Abraham towards the three visitors, highlighting that his generous actions precede the divine promise. The discussion points out the Lord's assurance to Abraham that nothing is too hard for Him, reinforcing faith in God's ability to fulfill His promises. Despite Sarah's doubt and laughter at the announcement, the conversation underscores God's understanding of human weakness and the importance of trusting in His plans. Ultimately, the episode stresses living in alignment with God's covenant through faith and obedience, showcasing the interplay between divine promise and human response. Listen to the podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

If you are able to host in the upcoming weeks or months, please sign up here.
