Dear Church,
On this week's episode Tim and Stephen discuss Genesis 44, where Joseph's brothers pass his most important test. When the silver cup is found in favored Benjamin's sack, the brothers refuse to abandon him to slavery in Egypt; they tear their clothes (their own this time) and all of them return to the city. Judah, who once led his brothers into selling Joseph for profit, now offers himself in Benjamin's place. Tim and Stephen discuss how this points to Jesus' own sacrifice and his encouragement for all of us to lay down our lives for our friends. Listen to the podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.
